St. Nikola Church in Cudahy, WI consecrated

On Saturday, April 17th, Bishop Longin, along with a great number of clergy from our diocese, as well as from other jurisdictions, re-consecrated the newly restored Church of Saint Nikola in Cudahy, WI. The church was damaged in a fire in October of 2008 and restorations were just completed recently. Along with the structural restoration, the church now also has new frescoes, done by iconographer Filip Subotic, and a new, carved wood iconostas which was delivered from Serbia.
St Nikola parish is grateful to all who contributed toward the restoration of the church, and among the first to Fr James Dokos of the Greek Orthodox Church who was awarded a special Gramata of Recognition by His Grace Bishop Longin.
